Crispy Hash Browns

Crispy Sunday Hash Browns

Ingredients
  

  • 3 large Agria potatoes
  • 1 large Brown onion
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup Chickpea flour
  • 1 Tbsp Tapioca starch
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Put the grated potatoes in a tea towel and squeeze them. The liquid from the potatoes should pour out.
  • Add the potatoes in another bowl along with the remaining ingredients and mix well. 
  • Heat up a large frying pan with enough oil to cover the bottom (I use rice bran oil). Shape the hash browns into a rectangular shape on a chopping board.
  • When the pan is hot, use a spatula to lift the hash browns and put them in the pan. Cook the hash browns until it is golden then turn ove and repeat for the remaining batter.
